Maimouna Mbacké

Maimouna defines herself as an entrepreneur and an innovative solutions provider with a real passion for social impact and people development. She currently works as an International Partnerships Manager for a British non-profit active working in circular economy and environmental preservation.

Over the past 10 years, she worked in the banking sector, in retail, marketing and strategy consulting. She has a cross-disciplinary background with a specialisation in entrepreneurship and international development. She has a strong interest in women and youth economic empowerment issues and believes that sustainable development for the African continent cannot be achieved without the participation of women and youth. She serves on the board of the first women-focused angel investment club in West Africa (WIC), acting as a deputy communication officer.

Maimouna is a relentless entrepreneur, founder of several startups including Alliwoh Learning hub (www.alliwoh.com).

Maimouna studied marketing, business, entrepreneurship, project management and finance in Dakar, the United States and the United Kingdom. She speaks fluent French, English, Wolof, understand some Spanish and loves to travel.
